First Steps Nursery established 1990 operates from a comfortable, large detached building in Merstham, Surrey. Open 8.ooam to 6.oopm we provide a caring, secure and stimulating environment for 0-5 year old children attending on a full or part time basis.
The Nursery is OFSTED registered and inspected under the Children's Act and receives regular visits to ensure our practices and procedures are in accordance with the National Day Care Standards.

Our emphasis is on learning through stimulating play and we will help your child to learn and develop their own personality and confidence at their own pace.
Once your place is booked but before your child starts Nursery, we will offer you and your child the opportunity to attend 'settling in sessions'. This experience is invaluable and will enable us to begin to build important relationships with you.
